Delicious Sunday Roast at a Lovely Pub
Visited the Bell Inn for the first time for their Sunday roast and were very impressed. Food was really delicious, and generous portions and a great selection of vegetables. Good selection of real ales and a lovely place and spotlessly clean. Very friendly owner and staff and excellent service. We have already booked to return for the Sunday roast this weekend and to try their evening menu which also looks good.

We had a really lovely visit to The Bell Inn in Parkham. The food was hot, fresh, and exactly what you want from good old English pub classics — hearty, well-cooked, and comforting. The staff were genuinely friendly and welcoming, and the traditional interior gives the pub a proper, authentic feel.
It’s also very dog-friendly, which made the visit even better. You really get a sense of community here, with a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere and great pub food. We would highly recommend it and will certainly be returning.

Perfect birthday meal
Lovely meal Saturday night, six of us with different meal choices and every one absolutely perfect. Thank you- all staff were very helpful and polite- this pub really has everything going for it 😊
Wonderful cosy, friendly pub.
We stayed at a cottage just a village away, we had visited the Bell on a previous trip and always enjoyed it.
Went twice this time, second time because we stayed an extra day.
It’s a smashing pub, run for many years by the same couple and staffed by locals. Well used by locals too, all very nice and friendly as well. Both times we had our dog with us, made most welcome.
Both meals, food was great. Pies and curry on first visit. Chicken and cod loin on second. All four meals top notch. Especially my cod and massive shout out for the vegetables as well.
Smashing beer selection. I’ve a thing for the local Otter ale.. wonderful pints served.
Overall, it’s great. Everything you could want in a country pub with food. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
A lovely country pub, very welcoming and dog friendly.
Food was excellent I recommend the pies, ham, cheese and leek filling and pastry was superb.
Cosy pub vibe for a yummy Sunday roast
We came for Sunday roast and it was definitely worth booking as it is very popular. The meal was excellent value for money with large, tasty portions and a fabulous cosy pub atmosphere. My partner really enjoyed the beef and the veggie option was equally good. The service was great and we would definitely go again.
